If you remember the exercises recommended by Vince Gironde (the inventor of the crunch exercise), we believe it is obligatory to mention a few details about it. Landes was the owner of the famous gym Vince’s Gym in North Hollywood. We use the past verb since Vince died in 1977 at the age of 79.

Landes Vince was known under the name of “Iron Guru”. Among bodybuilders who trained over the years at his gym we remind Vince Jake Steinman, Lou Ferrigno, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also, movie stars such as Cher, Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington were displayed enviable figures on big and small screens thanks to their personal coach, none other than Vince Gironde.

In the early years of his bodybuilding career, Vince wanted to get more muscle. He never focused on the abdomen and never controlled his diet.

He decided to work his abdominal muscles when he saw Steve Reeves and Jack LaLanne on the beach. Vince said that he got his abdominal muscles, envied by many bodybuilders, in just six weeks.

Many of Gironde’s ideas on training abdominal muscles are unique. Contrary to the belief of most bodybuilders, he said that making a few sets of crunches daily does not lead to desired results whether you are looking for easy weight loss or bodybuilding. He taught his students that weight loss is possible only through diet and intense training with minimum rest periods and the activity of the heart and lungs is very important for fat dissolution. For a perfect belly you need exercise and proper nutrition.

Weight loss, a behavioral change process: It is very simple: eat fewer calories than you burn and you will lose weight. This is the principle the 1200 calorie diet is based on. Keep in mind though that it does not solve the problem. Its effects are temporary.

We’ve all seen interviews where the all star Yo Gotti rapper claims to be the most disturbed, yet heroic, character in the hip-hop music industry today. Yo Gotti is just another one of millions that think they have something unique to rap about. Some people ask “Why does Yo Gotti make music?” and I have some answers for them. The reason he raps is because he fell victim to the allure of money, women, and a way out of his ghetto home in Compton, California. Just like every other famous rapper you see today, Yo Gotti talks about the influences of money, cars, and material possessions.

Oddly enough, these rappers sing songs about bank rolls in their first album. This is before they see a red cent and is a complete fabrication of their financial means; which doesn’t make much sense if you think about it. This leaves questions as to the integrity of any pop musician, especially Yo Gotti. He got his name from the well-known John Gotti, who was a real gangster. Rappers today only try to convey a image of being really tough and bad, so they cling to stereotypical gangster movies (and sometimes even real life) characters. This is called being a fake if you ask me. This artist writes ridiculous songs like “Yo Gotti Pure,” and “Poppin Rubberbands.”

You can really hear the lack of intellectual depth that is spewing forth from the mind and mouth of Yo Gotti. Thinking he had something different to say, Yo Gotti decided to put down the skimpy dime bags, and pick up a microphone. Yo Gotti makes music in a professional studio now, because he earned enough money from selling lies. It isn’t talent really because nearly anybody can talk over a Roland TR-808. But Yo Gotti has somehow still convinced hundreds of people that he has what it takes to be an influential part of today’s music.

The latest celebrity reports indicate that rapper Jay-Z is teaching his wife, pop singer Beyonce, how to drive a car. The diva and “Halo” singer appears to be taking her lessons in the early mornings, in order to avoid the morning rush and the paparazzi swarm that tends to follow the couple just about everywhere.

An inside source told a leading UK newspaper: “Jay and Beyonce normally go out when it is not so busy. They also have their bodyguards with them, but they never ride in the car with them.”

Even if the rapper plans on buying his wife an expensive make of car, it seems that Beyonce isn’t exactly excited by the prospect.  The latest Beyonce Ego song is released in the UK and USA soon and the star is attempting to fit in the driving lessons with her busy promotional schedule.

“Beyonce needs something that isn’t so big,” the inside source went on to say. “Money isn’t not a problem but she does not want to feel like she is  driving an army vehicle.  She does want a car that’s big enough to take out her family and friends if she needs to though.”

The singer has denied recent rumors that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child, so she won’t exactly need the extra space for a child’s car seat.

In response to the rumors that are constantly surrounding Beyonce and her sister Solange, mom Tina Knowles told an online publication: “Hearing stories flying around and protecting Beyonce from the unsavoury side of the music industry is very difficult. I’m lucky to have such good relationships with my daughters. I have always tried to be as open and honest as possible with the girls growing up. I let them know they could always come to me with anything – and I would be there to support them.”

What is it about magic that is so intriguing to children and adults? We live in this fantasy world as kids growing up where the land of make believe is real to us. Movies with magic are so pleasing to us that we literally cannot get enough. The funny part is as we grow older we are still fascinated by the surreal. Sure we know it is not real but we still love watching because the kid in us never dies. David Blaine is one of the magicians that has brought mainstream magic tricks and death defying mind over matter stunts to major network television. Ten years ago that never happened but today it is all too real. Another magician who has brought magic to popular television is Criss Angel. He is a magician who appeals to the younger more hip crowd and walks the streets and casinos in LasVegas performing magic for the masses with nothing but a walking camera man. It is truly amazing to see him live in person. He has his own television show called Mindfreak that launched him to super stardom in a matter of months. Now he performs nightly at the Luxor and sells out every night.
