Celebrities Jump on the B12 Shot Bandwagon!

You may have heard a lot as of late about people taking b 12 injections.  Many celebrities have come forward and said that they take a regular b 12 injection and attribute this to an improved quality of their skin and hair as well is increased energy.  Word is that is also increases their metabolic functions which helps to maintain a healthy weight.

B12 shots are so popular with celebrities, that when Justin Timberlake was introducing Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he announced to the audience that she had actually given him a B 12 shot! Apparently music and B12 goes hand in hand, because Prince also gets B12 shots before every performance.

Hugh Jackman attributes b12 shots twice a week to the fact that he was able to dance 10 hours a day for “The Boy from Oz”.

But B12 isn’t just for celebrities who want to be at the top of their game.  It is also for those who overindulge.

When Lindsay Lohan collapsed in the set of “Georgia Rule”, she (ever the drama queen) was immediately rushed to the hospital for an emergency B12 shot.  (Who knew there was even such a thing as emergency vitamin shots?)  Apparently, alcohol in the body depletes it of vitamin B so my guess is that Ms. Lohan’s body was fairly low on its b12 stores.

So, is all the talk about vitamin B12 just hype by celebrities who have too much time and money on their hands?  Surprisingly, no!  B12 is an essential vitamin that plays a role in the metabolism of every cell in our bodies.  While most people get more than enough B12, many people have difficulty metabolizing the vitamin. Having low levels of B12 has been attributes to numerous health conditions and even mildly low levels can lead to fatigue and depression.

It would appear that the celebrities have this one right!

Tips For Creating Modeling Resumes

Professional resumes usually have the same basic type of format, but a modeling resume must highlight certain aspects particular to the profession. A modeling resume should follow the standard format of any professional resume, but it is important that the information contained in the resume should be broken down into categories where each category contains a specific kind of experience. To show that clearly, follow the tips below to create outstanding modeling resumes.

  • Type in your complete contact information at the top of your modeling resume. Include also a profile of your physical characteristics like age, height and weight. Do not forget to add a photograph of yourself in the upper corner of your resume or just attach it to your resume itself.
  • The second step is to give a short career summary which should mention your total years in the modeling profession.
  • The next step is to create a heading for Professional Experience and list down all of your modeling experience. Create sub-headings if you have to, such as Magazines or Commercials and provide details of each job. Make sure to start the list with your most recent job and work backward.
  • Include another section that highlights your special talents like acting, dancing or singing.
  • And lastly make mention that you have personal and career references and a portfolio available anytime upon request.
  • Before printing, make sure to check that you have used a standard size professional font like Times New Roman or Arial in 10 or 11 font size. Make sure the margin is 1-inch on all sides, and that your modeling resume format is easy to read.
  • Print on a high quality white bond paper, although you may choose a little shade in your resume paper like beige or anything that is soft in color. Use a short bond paper to print and you are all ready for your job interview.
