Children often are taught in school to play instruments such as keyboards or recorders, sing in a chorus and learn about elements of music and its history. Being a music professional is regarded as one of the top taxing professions along with social work, teaching and nursing and entry into this profession only comes to selected people after hard work, mostly at the start of childhood and continues until college. Music education is a fundamental component of human culture and behavior and is an accomplishment that differentiates us as humans. In primary and secondary schools students often have chance to perform in different types of musical groups like choir, orchestra, concert and bands.

Instrumental music is a composition or recording without lyrics or singing though it might consist of non-articulate vocal input. In a song which is normally sung, a piece not sung but instead played with instrument is called an instrumental interlude. A large variety of musical groups use only instruments, from rock to hip hop. This type of music is commonly requested during Christmas, romantic situations and at weddings. The piano is commonly mostly used during Christmas while a saxophone is used for seductive or romantic situations. In commercial popular music, instrumental tracks are occasionally versions of a corresponding release that features vocals, but at times could be compositions originally made without the singing part. While many claim that music improves performance better, research specifies that both types of music distract the working memory system. Evidence suggests vocal music to be more disturbing than instrumental music as lyrics bring to mind mental images, which are more emotionally and logically distracting for the listener. Some researchers have shown that instrumental music stimulates the brain performance and hence is a great background while performing mental or artistic tasks. It is more beneficial in meditation and therapeutic exercises.

Music is therefore said to have significance in all culture’s educational system for over thousand years. It not only inspires imagination and presentation, but also academic performance in general is seriously impacted.

There are many different groups of horror movie fans out there and each group has its own unique personality, questions, and wishes for the direction of future Hollywood horror films. One group which might not be as large as the others are major werewolf fans. The problems this group often faces is that so few truly good werewolf movies have been made. While there have been a few in the last 15 years which are worthy of note such as “Dog Soldiers” or the “Ginger Snaps” series, you might notice that even these are independent films which have low budget.

Part of the problem is that a couple of big box office werewolf films completely flopped (which many fans will attribute to Hollywood writers and studios writing these movies like a normal horror film instead of truly understanding the sub genre) and so on recent movies there are many vampire versus werewolf themes going on. This could make werewolf fans feel like the unappreciated younger brother of mainstream vampire action movies.

In fairness, many longtime vampire fans do not like the recent Hollywood movies and how they have messed with the genre. The “Twilight” series for example, is not what you would truly call of vampire movie for long-term horror film fans. The same could be said of “The Underworld” series. This begs the question: can werewolves crawl out from the shadow of these new vampires, or all the doomed to be an overlooked and under represented part of the horror genre?

At this point there is no true way of knowing which way it’s going to fall. Good werewolf movies are far and few between but they are a wonderful experience when you stumble upon them. Arguably this is also one of the few monster movie genres that have not been over-exploited to death by Hollywood. For writers with a creative idea they should give an opportunity to be able to break into the market. And the independent film community has proven that a good werewolf movie can garner a lot of attention and support. However there is no question that there will always be more vampire films than werewolf films, but hopefully future ones in both genres will return to their horror-based roots instead of just being tools for an action flick or teen romance.

There is nothing more exciting than spending a day out with family and friends at a state fair. One of the best fairs in the country can be found in Oklahoma. If you or a person you know wants to attend an Oklahoma livestock show or the Oklahoma city rodeo, they are sure to have loads of fun.

These two places are a great idea if you like horse shows or rodeos. A front row seat will allow a person to totally enjoy the show and make memories that last a lifetime. At the rodeo, there is bull riding, exciting thrills, and heart racing action. There are even times when bad accidents occur. Barrel racing is a an activity that anyone of all ages can enjoy watching. They have a miniature donkey show for young children and pony races too. This can be a great experience for everyone, especially those who have never been to a rodeo or horse show before.

The Oklahoma City Rodeo is nice for those who want to spend the time eating tasty food, petting the animals, drinking the wine, playing the carnival games, or riding the rides. The children can see the different exhibits and learn what it is like to live as a farmer and take care of animals.

The state fair is held in September starting on the fifteenth and wrapping up on the twenty-fifth. Tickets may be bought at the gate. It is nine dollars for adults and five dollars for children. Opening day is always cheaper to get in.

Oklahoma has many great venues that are nice to share with family and friends of all ages. From the very young to the young at heart will find something to enjoy. When possible, come and see exactly what these great events have to offer.
