The Twilight Craze and What’s Driving it

A lot of people were left scratching their heads when the Twilight craze became the in thing. Everywhere you turned there seemed to be someone reading or talking about the books. It got even crazier when the movies came out. We have seen nothing like it since the craze about Harry Potter started to take over the world years ago.

So what’s behind the entire craze about Twilight? Of course it all started with the books. Stephenie Meyer has published several books, but her success came when the first Twilight book that she wrote came out. Just to give you an idea of how big a bestseller Twilight is, it has managed to sell almost 90 million copies worldwide and it has been translated to almost 40 different languages. Meyer got the inspiration for the story from a dream. She dreamed about a vampire falling in love with an ordinary girl. What made their tale more compelling is the fact that the vampire felt the urge for the young girl’s blood. Meyer wrote the first installment of the series quite fast but she originally had no intention of getting it published. It was a good thing that she changed her mind.

There are a lot of vampire stories and the genre is certainly not a new one, but there has been nothing like Twilight that has captured the imagination of readers. It is not just the young people or teenagers who are hooked to the love story of Edward and Bella, adults too also find the story to be irresistible.

Now the Twilight craze is everywhere. You can buy Twilight party supplies and you can play the best Twilight dress up games and these are just proof of how popular Twilight has become. It has reached across cultures and age gaps to embrace everyone.

Electric guitar

Cons

  • It requires electricity and of course, an amplifier (speaker)
  • It needs chords

  • It’s more expensive than acoustic guitar

Acoustic guitar

  • You get limited sound effects (distortion effect is unlikely in acoustic)

There are really minor differences, but you can always have that inclination to one.

The best guitar is…

Once you have decided what type of guitar to take, you then move on to the other aspects in choosing the best guitar. In here we shall look at the major characteristic of a guitar that makes it stands among the rest.

One that tunes well – guitars should tune well, they’re useless when they don’t. Make sure they stay in tune as well.

One that sounds audible enough – Make sure you check that you are able to hear a good amount of volume from your guitar, may it be acoustic or electric. If any chance you hear some buzzing or some muffing sound, then the guitar might have some issues (most probably broken). Double-check the guitar.

One that you love – of course, don’t pick a guitar if the aesthetics alone already turns you off. Moreover, don’t pick one that you don’t like the feel or playability. Remember that this is your first guitar. This should be one that you can easily befriend and love.

Hope these tips help you to choose the best guitar. You made a great choice of making guitar as your new instrument, go ahead and get the best guitar. Good luck!
